Stop Complaining & Make A Change

Have you ever wondered why people complain? Some do it more than others, but they complain because they have a mental image of something better. If they cannot imagine anything better, then there are no complaints. So we know that when someone is complaining, they already know a better way, but instead of choosing to take action and produce that better way, they avoid the risk, and simply complain. In this issue, I’ll get a bit sarcastic, but I’m sure you’ll get the point. There are little things all of us can do every day to improve. – I hope you enjoy this issue.

9 Fantastic Ways to Live a Boring and Unsuccessful Life

By Jack Madison

It’s very easy to get caught up in routine and slip into a boring and unimpressive existence. There are a lot of ways to add some variety to your routine and get out of a mind numbing rut, but, that’s not everyone’s cup of tea.

If you want to make sure you are the least interesting person in every room, follow these simple steps:

  1. Talk about yourself . No one is as important as you so make sure they know it. Make sure you one up every story you hear and avoid asking questions at all costs.
  2. Don’t make new friends. your group of friends are comfortable and don’t push you, you don’t want to mess up a good thing.
  3. Stay at home. What could be out there that is more interesting than the primetime lineup?
  4. Don’t waste time reading. You might as well just watch a movie, what’s the difference? Books, magazines and blogs can be a real time waster.
  5. Watch A LOT of TV. In the time you would have wasted going to a play, reading a book, taking a walk or mastering a hobby, you could have watched 4 or 5 TiVo’d episodes of American Idol.
  6. Don’t take care of yourself . Energy is overrated. Drink a lot of alcohol, avoid exercise and try that new KFC double down.
  7. Keep a closed mind. You have lived long enough to have a clear view of the world around you. Don’t let new ideas creep in and challenge what are comfortable with.

How many items on this boring list do you subscribe to? Maybe it’s time to try something new.
